I’ve been studying Photoshop on and off for the past 7-8 years now and just NOW discovered actions….so much easier and faster. Here are a couple I played with:
Esther and Irv in Union Station (shot in raw and I did a lot of processing on this one, only because when I shot it my ISO was way to high and it was already bright…I’m learning though.)
Mama & Papa in Europe taken by another tourist (I used the Lomo action on this one. My parent’s look like such tourists, it’s awesome!)
My new flash arrived at my parents house this past week. I’ll be on travel this week, so I won’t be able to start learning how to use this beauty.
Irv and Esther are about a month away from their wedding and wanted to do another e-session with me. After being inspired by the likes of Sarah K. Chen and Nataly Lemus, we decided to take a couple pictures at Union Station in downtown Los Angeles. We were really blessed to have such a gorgeous day to work with. So without further ado…..Irv and Esther, revisited.
Last June (2007), my friends Lenny and Ruby invited me to their baby boy’s, Benny’s, 1st birthday party. Of course I was delighted to attend and take a couple pictures of the birthday boy and his friends and family. Since then they have had a little girl, Gabriella. I have yet to see her, and you can bet that when I do I’ll be there snapping pictures of this cutie. Happy birthday Benny! Thanks for the cake and I had a blast during the water balloon toss…when it popped..lol.
Irv and Esther were my very first models. I needed to practice and they needed engagement pictures and voila! It was a warm day in July of last year and we decided on going to Huntington Library for a few shots. I had a bit of trouble at first, then quickly got comfortable. These two are getting married in about month and I can’t wait to attend their wedding and witness as they become one. Congrats Irv and Esther!
